"I capture my friends and the youth culture around me. The photos I take are the closest thing possible to reliving the moment. They consist of portraits, nightlife and scenic shots, where my main intention is to preserve the emotions and feelings in the moment. I also like to catch people off-guard in my photos, so the photos can speak for themselves. A big influence for me is seeing other people around me pursuing their passions too. Unlike academic subjects, creativity has little competition. There is always something new you can learn. I doubt there are many people who have completely mastered the tricks of their trade. But everyone begins to develop their own style, which makes working with other people so fun. I think that photography should be something you feel - it’s easy to start worrying about the technicalities of cameras, but I think that art is something you feel."
