Scenes from japan

Callum Ruddock

Feeling comfortable in the Japanese urban environment was vital for me. I didn't just want to feel at home - I hoped to thrive. I attempted to capture the vastness of urban and rural space that was there (and some of the present religious aspects). I worked to use the texture and the broad sense of range my 80's Nikon Fg-20 offered me, despite all the photography being shot on a fixed zoom lens. All the photos are shot in natural light on Kodak Gold Film ISO 200 and 400.
