Where will i dig my roots

By Suzie Beckley

Since moving to University I have found my roots are constantly shifting. ‘Roots’ is something I used to identify with home and family, but now I know longer live at ‘home’ I find my idea of belonging is being shaped by different factors. The people I meet, the places I go, the old friends, the parties, the music I listen to. For me, these are new roots and old roots alike, combining to shape and change my view of the world.
